If the windows are working it implies that the switch is functioning properly. However if the same problem persists the switch may have to be replaced. The common reason for the window to not move up or down is a fuse window regulator or window motor failure. Turn the key to the on position and toggle the window switch up and down.

If you are getting power in both directions of the switch then the electrical wiring to the motor is good and the motor should be replaced. This switch takes input from either the driver or other passengers and sends power to the window motor which opens or closes the window.
